Walked the scales this morning and the numbers line up with what the pile feels like. Copper is $6.68/lb, up 1.3% today and up 1.7% over 30 days, so the bare bright barrel keeps getting picked through. Aluminum is $3,473/mt, up 1.0% today and up 3.4% on the month, and that makes wheels and extrusions a little less painful to sit on. HRC steel is $1,243/st, up 1.4% today and up 4.0% in 30 days, so shred stays busy.
