Metals recycling
First thing I noticed this morning was copper ticking up again, $6.71/lb, up 1.8% today and 6.1% over 30 days. That kind of move shows up fast in how picky buyers get about clean bright vs. mixed. Aluminum is $3,401/mt, up 1.3% today but down 2.6% over the month, so the can loads still feel like work. HRC steel is $1,195/st, off 0.7% today, up 3.4% on the month.
