Exchange is the board. Yard cash is what the scale is paying, national average. Not a local bid.

Metals recycling

First thing I saw on the screen this morning was HRC steel getting tagged, $1,165/st, down 3.9% on the day and 2.1% over 30 days. That changes the tone at the scale, even if the shred pile looks the same. Copper went the other way, $6.64/lb, up 2.0% today and 1.9% on the month, so bare bright still gets attention. Aluminum sits steady at $3,424/mt, up 0.3% today and 0.5% over 30.
