The sheet metal pile feels a little heavier this week, even with HRC steel at $1,226/st (up 0.2% today, up 2.8% on the month). Copper is basically flat, $6.60/lb (up 0.3% today, down 1.6% over 30d), so the wire buyers are staying picky on quality. Aluminum is doing its own thing at $3,439/mt (down 0.7% today, up 2.2% over 30d), which keeps the can math boring.
