Exchange is the board. Yard cash is what the scale is paying, national average. Not a local bid.
Metals recycling
A guy at the scale house told me the calls this week are split between wire and jewelry. Copper is $6.59/lb, up 2.0% today and 4.5% over 30 days, so every contractor cleanup feels like a small payday again. Gold is $4680.60/oz, up 3.6% in a day and 15.7% in 30, and that's pulling in rings and broken chains. HRC steel is $1,185/st, down 0.8% today but up 2.5% on the month.
