Exchange is the board. Yard cash is what the scale is paying, national average. Not a local bid.

Metals recycling

Phone's been ringing more about wire than cans, and the board backs it up. Copper is $6.66/lb, up 1.3% today and 0.7% over 30 days, so the chop guys keep asking where the clean comes from. Aluminum at $3,470/mt is up 0.2% on the day and 2.6% on the month, steady enough to keep UBC moving. HRC steel sits at $1,225/st, up 0.2% today and 2.7% over 30 days, nothing flashy, just firm.
